Wow! I woke up this morning to some wonderful news:
DEATH VALLEY DUEL, No. 9 in my National Park Mystery Series with Torrey House Press, has just been named a finalist for the 2025 Colorado Humanities & Center for the Book Colorado Book Award for Best Mystery!
I’m especially honored to be short-listed with Barbara Nickless (PLAY OF SHADOWS), whose incredible writing has inspired my own writing for many years, and Robert Justice (A DREAM IN THE DARK), whose writing and work for social justice I’m now looking forward to discovering.
Thanks to Colorado Humanities for their ongoing support of Colorado authors, and to all of you for your support on this fun and gratifying journey.
