I’m thrilled to announce the April 15 release by Torrey House Press of the special 10th Anniversary Edition of GRAND CANYON SACRIFICE, the first book in my now nine-books-and-counting National Parks Mystery Series.
GRAND CANYON SACRIFICE includes a wonderful new foreword by Anne Hillerman and stunning new cover art by David Jonason.
I had a terrific time introducing GRAND CANYON SACRIFICE to a great group of folks last night at Dolores Public Library on the banks of the Dolores River. (Thanks for the pic, librarian Hannah!) I’ll continue introducing the 10th Anniversary Edition at Left Coast Crime’s annual convention in Denver this weekend.

Maria’s Bookshop in Durango will host a 10th birthday party for GRAND CANYON SACRIFICE on Thursday, April 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., complete with cake, ice cream, balloons, and the attendance, all the way from Salt Lake City, of the never-boring co-publishers of Torrey House Press, Kirsten Johanna Allen and Will Neville-Rehbehn.
Looking ahead, I’ll be in conversation at Bright Side Bookshop in Flagstaff on Monday, May 12, at 6 p.m., with Kevin Fedarko, whose A WALK IN THE PARK is deservedly winning just about every national nonfiction book award out there right now. Kevin and I will be talking about our books in light of the current and ongoing threats posed to America’s national parks and public lands.
I’d like to express my sincere thanks to all of you, as readers of my mysteries, who have made the last ten years of my writing and the ongoing success of my series possible. Hope to celebrate with you at the big 10th birthday party at Maria’s on April 3!
