I was honored to present the opening lecture in this year’s Southwest Colorado Humanities’ History Live! speaker series, in the Center of Southwest Studies on the campus of Fort Lewis College in Durango on Sept. 2.
I focused on the history of my terrific nonprofit environmental and social justice publisher, Torrey House Press, with a bunch of stories accompanying slides of THP book covers over the years, mixed in with the story of the creation and development of my National Park Mystery Series. The boisterous crowd made the evening lots of fun.
