Big thanks to the standing-room-only crowd of good friends and readers who turned out last night at Maria’s Bookshop in Durango to celebrate the release in print, ebook, and audiobook of GREAT SAND DUNES MASSACRE, book 10 in my National Park Mystery Series with Torrey House Press.
It was especially fun to hear the fascinating, true rescue stories shared by La Plata County Search and Rescue President and Mission Coordinator Ron Corkish and his merry band of rescuers. What they and volunteer search-and-rescue folks across the country do, in putting their lives on the line for their communities, is truly remarkable.
After last night’s great sendoff, I’m all set to hit the road for the GREAT SAND DUNES MASSACRE book tour the next two weeks!
